Mascot


Mascot is a suburb in south-eastern Sydney located 7 kilometres south of the Sydney central business district. Mascot is on the north-west side of Botany Bay and contains Sydney Airport. Public transport to the suburb is served by three railway stations on the Airport Line and numerous buses. The International and Domestic railway stations are situated below the respective terminals of the airport. The train trip is about 15 minutes to the city centre. Fresh produce markets and festivals such as A Taste of Mascot. The popular South Sydney Graphic Arts Club is located in Mascot. Recreation areas include popular L'Estrange Park and Mascot Oval. The Lakes Golf Club is nearby.
